Professional Music Composer and Piano Artist Writer/Poet&Visual Artist
Aliz Asztalos lives in Budapest, Hungary. Pianist performer since 1999, composer since 2003. In 1999, she was admitted to the piano department of the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, and then was admitted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest with maximum points. She participated in numerous master classes. She won awards for her piano playing during her years at the conservatory, and then, as a music academy student, she won the "Róbert Kovács" Scholarship (Philharmonia Kht.) in 2005. In 2015, she has got a Pianist and Teacher Master's degree at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. Her compositions have been published by the Concert Hall Foundation since 2020. In her composition, she emphasizes piano, symphonic, and sacred/oratorio works. She also engages in alternative electronic music composition (since 2016), visual arts, writing and poetry. In 2022-2023-2024-2025, she published concert reports/concert analyses in the music education journal Parlando. In 2025, a portrait article about her was also published in Parlando.
